How to maintain organic fertilizer equipment in winter

2024/07/04

After the winter shutdown, the correct maintenance of organic fertilizer equipment is very important, which can effectively extend the service life of the equipment and ensure the normal operation of the next season. Here are some maintenance suggestions:

1. Clean the equipment: thoroughly clean the surface and interior of the equipment to remove dust, residual organic matter and other dirt. Ensure that all channels, inlet and outlet, rollers, transmission components, etc. are clean and free of foreign matter.

2. Lubrication and rust prevention: check and lubricate the moving parts, bearings, chains and other lubricating parts of the equipment. Use suitable lubricants or greases to prevent friction and corrosion due to drying during shutdown.

3. Check and replace the vulnerable parts: Check the vulnerable parts of the equipment and consider whether they need to be replaced or adjusted according to the use. For frequently used equipment, it is recommended to carry out regular inspection and maintenance during the winter shutdown to ensure that the organic fertilizer production line can be used normally in the next production season.

4. Store the equipment: Store the equipment in a dry and ventilated place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Avoid exposing equipment to harsh environmental conditions for long periods of time, which reduces the possibility of corrosion and aging.

5. Record and backup: Record the maintenance status of the device and any potential problems. During the winter shutdown, more in-depth inspections and repairs can be planned to prepare for the next production season.

6. Staff training and safety: If applicable, conduct training on the safe use and maintenance of the equipment for the operators to ensure that they understand the correct operation methods and precautions.
