The difference between drum screener machine and vibration screener machine

2024/07/12

1. Working principle:

Vibration screener machine: vibration screener machine vibrates the screen through the vibration force generated by the vibration motor, so as to screen the material. The material is separated into particles of different sizes according to the size through different apertures of the screen.

Drum screener machine: The drum screener machine uses the rotating motion of the screening cylinder and the role of the material rolling in the screening cylinder, so that the material is screened inside, suitable for materials with high viscosity.

2. Application field:

Vibrating screen machine: suitable for fine size range of material screening, such as sand, ore, chemical raw materials, etc., widely used in the classification and screening of granular materials.

Drum screener machine: mainly used to deal with high viscous materials, such as coal, wet coal slime, wet clay, etc., through the rotary screening and separation of the roller.

3. Screening effect:

Vibrating screen machine: due to vibration, the screening efficiency is high, suitable for the screening of finer particles, and can effectively prevent clogging. Drum screener machine: For viscous materials, the roller screeners can separate well, but the particle size range is usually large.

4. Energy consumption and noise:

Vibrating screen machine: usually lower energy consumption, less noise, suitable for fine screening and low noise environments.

Drum screener machine: due to the involvement of high-power motors and rotating parts, high energy consumption, noise is also large, need to be properly treated in noise control.

In summary, the vibrating screen machine and the roller screen machine have their own characteristics and advantages, and the selection of the appropriate screening equipment needs to consider the material characteristics, screening requirements and working environment and other factors.
